Boris Anje Tabufor (1993 Bamenda Cameroon), lives and works in Douala. Boris discovered art early in his life, joining the Institut des Beaux-Arts de Foumban (IBAF) after finishing high school. Whilst at art school he attended workshops of local artists, as well as the Contemporary Art Center ‘Les Ateliers de Sahm’ in Brazzaville (Congo). There he met some of the famous ‘Sapeurs’ (SAPE: Société des Ambianceurs et des Personnes Élegantes), who are part of some of his exquisite paintings. In 2015, he obtained a professional license in drawing and painting from IBAF, followed by a master 2 in 2018. Even at his tender age, the work of Boris Anje is already included in major private and public collections, such as the permanent collection of the World Bank in Washington. Recent exhibitions include, AKAA (Also Known As Africa) Paris 2019, Art & Design Fair, ArtX Lagos (Nigeria) 2019, First International Exhibition of Contemporary Art in West Africa.
