Born in Kodié, Mali, Alhassane Konté dit Lass lives and works in Bamako. He graduated from the National Institute of Arts and then from the Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers Multimédia, Bamako. He was the winner of the Mali/European Union cooperation competition in 2018 and exhibited at Casa Blanca, Bamako, during the open house of the Tim’Arts workshop. He participates in group exhibitions at the National Museum of Mali organised by the Centre Soleil d’Afrique and the Tim’Arts collective of which he is a member. His first solo exhibition took place at the Villa Soudan in 2019 with his microMéga series. He recently exhibited at the Galerie Chauvy, Paris and completed a residency at the Fondation Blachère, Dakar.
