Born in 1997 in Brazzaville, Congo. Lives and works in Persan, France.
Child of street art, Alexandre Elenga studied at the School of Design and Architecture of Camondo (Paris, France). He multiplies artistic collaborations with clothing brands (Dawgz and Blacksmoke agency) and produces live paintings at “Les Petites Gouttes” (Paris) as well as for the cultural webzine CIMER!
His work is a kaleidoscope of colors, is a journey through popular and RnB references that have become symbols of emancipation and social success (Muhammad Ali, 2Pac, Kanye West, Eminem, etc.). Saturations of bright pinks, yellows, or blues are superimposed or mixed with skin colors to question the racial affiliations of the subjects and make her work resonate as a tool of social criticism.
